An Easy Stuffed Pizza Recipe
I live in Karachi, it is a huge city with loads of restaurants and takeaways. I being a fast food lover, have tasted many of the Stuffed crust pizza in Karachi as I am a huge fan of it. Definitely, I do not like to munch on the doughy dry crusts. As a matter of fact, no one wants to have a pizza that is dry and not saucy. In fact, you will not believe me that after every 3 days, I crave a stuffed crust pizza. In fact, I will say that I am such a pizza lover that I will reach any pizza store in Pakistan and can enjoy eating a pizza. However, I just tried making stuffed crust pizza at home, and it turned out great. Indeed if you love to eat food, then you are capable of making it as well.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of pizza mix
- 2/3 cup of very hot water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or
vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup of pepperoni, diced or
sliced
- 4 grated cheese - Diced (as
well)
- 1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce
- 2 cups of grated cheese mix (8
oz)
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms (3 oz) -
sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper -
chopped (1/2 cup)
- 1 can (2 1/4 oz) black sliced olives - drained
Instructions
- Move the oven grill to the
lowest position. Preheat oven to 450°F. Spray with special cooking spray
on a 12-inch diameter round pizza tray or tray. In a large deep bowl, add
the pizza mix, very hot water and oil with a fork to form a smooth dough;
stir vigorously 20 times. Let stand 8 minutes.
- Press the dough into the bottom
and an inch more side of the pizza tray (all around). Add to the entire
shore 1/4 cup of pepperoni along the edge of the dough. Place the cheese
on the pepperoni chain along the edge of the dough. Fold the edge dough
over and all around the cheese and pepperoni, pressing to seal. Bake for 7
minutes.
- Spread or spread the pizza
sauce evenly over the partially baked dough. Sprinkle with 1 cup grated
cheese, 1/2 cup pepperoni, sliced mushrooms, bell pepper and olives.
Sprinkle with the rest of 1 cup of cheese.
- Bake for 9 to 12 more minutes or until the dough is browned from the crust and the cheese has melted.
Indeed this is a
delicious recipe for a stuffed crust pizza, and you can enjoy this fresh at home.
However, if you go to any the pizza store in Pakistan, you will not find such a pizza, which is
cheesy and full of flavour.
Well, to add more flavour and spice, I am also sharing a great recipe for a sauce you can dip in your pizza.
Recipe of Dynamite Pizza Sauce
Dynamite pizza sauce is a creamy, spicy sauce that is often used as a dipping sauce or a drizzle on a cheesy pizza. Here is a recipe for dynamite sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the
mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder,
and onion powder.
- Whisk together until the
ingredients are well combined, and the sauce is smooth.
- Taste the sauce and then adjust
the seasoning as need and prefer. You can add more sriracha sauce for more
heat, honey for sweetness, or soy sauce for saltiness.
- Cover the sauce and then
refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavours to
infuse into each other.
- Serve the dynamite sauce as a dipping sauce on top of your pizza and enjoy the tangy, sour and spicy sauce.
